Livence Mental Health Receives CPD Provider Accreditation from the PRC–CPD Council of Psychology

Livence Mental Health proudly announces its official recognition as an Accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) – CPD Council of Psychology with Accreditation No. PSYCH-2025-075. This certification signifies that Livence Mental Health has fully complied with the standards and requirements set under Republic Act No. 10912 (The Continuing Professional Development Act of 2016) and the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the PRC.

As an accredited CPD provider, Livence Mental Health is authorized to deliver legitimate, government-recognized, and high-quality continuing education programs for psychology professionals and other helping practitioners in the Philippines. This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to advancing the standards of psychological practice through training that is competency-based, ethically grounded, and aligned with the latest developments in mental health care.

Among our flagship programs is the Certified Trauma Support Practitioner (CTSP™) Training, a specialized certification course designed to equip psychometricians, psychologists, guidance counselors, social workers, and other helping professionals with the knowledge and skills to respond to trauma effectively and compassionately. The CTSP program integrates the core principles of trauma-informed care, ethical practice, and cultural sensitivity—hallmarks of Livence Mental Health’s approach to professional development. It is important to note that the CTSP™ certification does not automatically grant CPD units, although certificates earned from the training proper may be submitted to the CPD Accreditation System (CPDAS) as self-directed learning to gain additional CPD points. While Livence Mental Health is an accredited CPD provider, CPD units are only awarded to specific programs approved by the PRC–CPD Council of Psychology. Moreover, the CTSP certification does not constitute licensure and does not authorize participants to provide psychotherapy, counseling, or trauma-focused clinical interventions. Instead, it prepares practitioners to operate responsibly within their professional scope—enhancing trauma awareness, facilitating appropriate referrals to licensed mental health professionals, and actively contributing to reducing stigma and barriers surrounding trauma-related care and support.

This accreditation is not merely a milestone—it is a testament to Livence Mental Health’s enduring mission to nurture a generation of Filipino mental health professionals who are competent, compassionate, and culturally grounded in their service to others.
